The school's four houses reflect the founders' values. At the Sorting Ceremony, the ancient Crown of Discernment — a thousand-year-old rune-adorned golden crown — reads the candidate's mind and heart and announces its decision.

Ashworth

Founder
Sir Aldric Ashworth, legendary duelling master and dragon hunter
Description
Ashworth members are generally brave, loyal, and charismatic. They tend toward boldness and impulsive decisions. Most outstanding duellist and dragon researchers come from this house.

In the North Tower, around a fireplace with red velvet sofas. The round, warm room offers a magnificent view of the mountains.

Medieval Knight
The ghost of a medieval knight who still guards the house's honour.
Entrance
A statue of an armoured knight, to which you must speak the password.

Description
Silverbrook members are purposeful, strategic thinkers and excellent networkers. Many become leaders and politicians of the magical world. Their bad reputation is somewhat exaggerated — they are pragmatic, not evil.

In the basement Undercroft, an elegant salon bathed in greenish light. Emerald lamps hang from the ceiling, and arched windows along the walls admit the glow of the lake.

A stone wall that opens to Serpentongue (snake language).

Description
Ravenscroft members are curious, creative, and often eccentric. They feel most at home in the library. Most great magical discoveries and spell innovations come from them.

In the East Tower, a circular library room with a star-dome ceiling. Bookshelves line the walls floor to ceiling, and the dome shows real-time constellations.

The ghost of a brilliant but absent-minded former professor who still gives lectures.

A door that poses a riddle and only opens with the correct answer.

Description
Heathwood members are reliable, hardworking, and exceptionally loyal. They don't seek the spotlight, but they form the backbone of the magical world. Excellent healers, nature mages, and magical creature carers come from their ranks.

On the ground floor near the greenhouse, a warm, plant-filled, homely room. A fire always burns in the hearth, and the air always carries the scent of fresh flowers.

Beside a row of barrels, where you must tap the correct rhythm.
